Jewish Homeschooling Curricular Materials Jewish Homeschooling SupportJHEN publishes a quarterly networking newsletter and has subscribers/contributors from around the world and from many levels of Jewish observance. They also offer phone and e-mail support. Information on subscribing can be found at their web site. The Chevra Jewish Homeschooling E-mail List was formed in June 1998. Several other mailing lists for Jewish homeschoolers can be found at Onelist by searching on "Jewish homeschooling". There is also a list specifically for Torah-observant Jewish homeschoolers at Shamash.org; to subscribe, look for the Torch-d list on their "list of lists". Judaic and Hebrew CurriculumThere are several publishers of Jewish/Hebrew educational materials. Most of their materials are aimed at either the afterschool religious school or Hebrew day school market, but the materials are adaptable to homeschool situations.
Torah U'Mesorah CAJE. Originally know as the Coalition for Alternatives in Jewish Education, they have changed their name to Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education. CAJE holds a convention each year and publishes some curricular materials. Davka Corporation carries a full line of Hebrew-related software, including a Hebrew word processor, lots of Hebrew fonts, Jewish graphics, the Encyclopedia Judaica on CD-ROM, and language software/games.
