2 cups lentils | 5 cups water |
2 slices bacon, diced | 1 onion, chopped |
1 carrot, thinly sliced | 2 stalks celery with tops, sliced |
1 clove garlic, minced | 1/2 tsp. salt |
1/4 tsp. pepper | 1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes |
2 Tbsp. vinegar |
Fry bacon and drain on paper towel and add to crockpot. Place all other ingredients, except vinegar, in crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Add vinegar before serving. Serves 6 people. Enjoy!!
