ABOUT THE AUTHOR
 | Thanks for visiting my website. A little about me... I wear a few different hats as an attorney, professor, writer and webmaster. I support animal welfare and am a member of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. I've been an avid observer and researcher of squirrels for nearly a decade since caring for my first outdoor companion squirrel in 1992 as a freshman in college. I still remember my furry freeloading friend, Nutkin (named after the impertinent character of Beatrix Potter's fiction), who came to my dormitory window every morning and evening like clockwork. Shortly after graduating from college, I started this website as a hobby in hopes that others would see what I find so interesting about these spunky little creatures. I also enjoy photographing squirrels in their natural habitat... take a look! |
My husband and I share our home with a very precocious and mischevious Mini Rex rabbit. After adopting her, I realized that rabbits, like squirrels, are quite misunderstood and deserve to have the record set straight about them... so I expanded my squirrel website and started learning more about the wild world of lagomorphs. | |
