1999-2000 Brownie Meetings

(14th) - For our start-up project we filled out our favorite papers to be posted on the homepage. We Introduced ourselves because we have a lot of new girls. Then Karen read us alittle bit about Juliette Low in our handbooks. Then we worked on the Numbers and Shapes Try-it and Girl Scout Ways Try-it. We sang "Make New Friends" for our closing and then we ate s'mores.


(28th) - For our start-up project we went outside with Liz to work on our Listening to the Past try-it. We went into the old cemetary and looked at the tombstones. We made tombstone rubbings and found the neat tombstones. When we came in we worked on the Numbers and Shapes try-it.

(2nd) - Raised the flag at the Harvest Festival.


(9th) - We hung our recycled bird feeders out at a local lake.


(12th)
- After our Pledge and Promise, Renee told us that our next meeting we were going to have our Investiture and Rededication Ceremony. She explained what the ceremony was going to be like and that we have to make and bring our favorite recipe for refreshments.We then worked on our Numbers and Shapes try-it and the Listening to the Past try-it.


(23rd) - We had our Investiture and Rededication Ceremony. We also made and brought in our favorite recipe for refreshments.

(9th) - During our opening ceremony we invested a new Brownie. Renee then read a thank you letter from Mrs. Welsh for doing the flag raising at the Harvest Festival. We then worked on our Listening to the Past Try-it and our Hobbies Try-it. We also sponge painted aprons for our Dad's to give as presents at the Father/Daughter Dinner on Friday.


(20th) - Went to Meadowcroft Village.


(23rd) - We worked on our Manners Try-it. For snack we had a Thanksgiving Blessing Mix.







(4th) - Marched in the community Christmas Parade.


(14th) - We finished one more requirement on our Manners Try-it. And made a Rudolph Christmas ornament and a present for our moms and dads.Then Miranda brought in snack. She showed us how to make a snowman out of marshmellows and pretzels. The best part was getting to eat the snowman.


(22nd) - We went Christmas caroling and a small party.






(11th) - We had a guest speaker to talk about nutrition.


(25th) - We worked on our Cookie Try-it.






(8th) - We made Valentines for the local rest home. We had our Thinking Day activities.


(29th) - We made our SWAPs and we had our court of awards and the Juniors held a small Thinking Day Ceremony.
