I see God standing on the side of a mountain,
looking over the valley below, surveying His creation.
At first I see a serene, fatherly figure.
Then for the first time I see and sense
a strength beyond human comprehension.
Here stands God, who can create or destroy whole worlds with the snap of His fingers.
I watch as He reaches down His massive arm,
not to destroy, but to stroke the hair of a small child
and to wipe away a tear.
This is how God wants us to see Him and ourselves,
as Christians made in His image.
We may have accomplished many great things through His strength and power.
But what matters most to God is that we love in His image.
