Jackson SMITH was born in Rockingham Co, Virginia on 1 January 1814 to William B. SMITH and Christina SITES. He was married to Susanna Engel PARROT in Rockingham County, their marriage bond being dated 12 June 1837 and signed by Susanna's father, Philip PARROT.
