Halloween is right around the corner! Here in our part of the country, it has been very warm, which makes it hard to believe Halloween could be this close! Our little town sponsors a community Halloween party. The kids play games, win prizes, have treats, and get a bag of goodies to take home. But it is still a safe place to trick or treat, and most kids participate in both. We only have two young enough to still trick-or-treat. This year Chris wants to be a solider, and Cara wants to be a puppy dog. Scott and Kim are the designated treat passer-outers this year. We have over 200 kids who will come to the door.
Halloween pumpkins are a big deal around our house. Our only decorations, but elaborate ones they are! We started making pumpkins from patterns (there is a link below) a few years ago, and everyone raved about them! It is kind of expected now. They really aren't that much more work, and they are worth the extra effort!
