HAMILTON posted by Jack Hamilton on Sunday, June 6, 1999: I am looking for decendants of David H. Hamilton, b.4-22-1832, d.11-15-1912. David is originally from Gwinnett Co., but moved to Carl, in the 1870's. He and his brother George William Hamilton, b.3-27-1838, d.11-22-1903, owned and operated Hamilton's Mill near Buford. I have the names of most of their decendants but I am still missing a few names. I will be glad to share the information I have.

BERRY, CAMP, HUMPHRIES, PHELPS posted by Virginia Campbell on Friday, June 18, 1999: I am searching for information concerning the estate of SHADRACK HUMPHRIES, born 1774 in Jackson County, Georgia, son of JOSEPH HUMPHRIES and REBECCA PHELPS. Shadrack died between 1822-1827 in Walton County. STARLING CAMP was the administrator of his estate. I am trying to discover the date of death of Shadrack. He married SARAH CAMP, daughter of JAMES CAMP AND MARY BERRY, and lived in Jackson and Walton Counties all his life. Any information that would give me his date of death would be greatly appreciated. One researcher gave Shadrack's burial place as the Lester Cemetery, however, this has not been proven. Thanks, Virginia
