A novel based on documents and
eye-witnesses, a truthful, even if not complete, re-enactment of some important events of
the past-present-future, trying to explain certain developments little known and largely
misunderstood to these days. In order to avoid errors, I used in my book excerpts from newspapers, statements, eye-witness declarations, letters, gossips, rumors, Parliament stenotypes, confessions, laws, Court verdicts, stories, memories, words, words, words and other odds and ends from the bottom of my drawers: scarves, gloves, photos, handkerchiefs, souvenirs, maps, books, posters, make-up, balloons, candies, papers,� pen and ink.
