After Ernie announced his retirment Jerry became the official
driver of the M&M's Pontiac for the rest of 1999, so that
meant any design #36 had was his. While Jerry drove #36 it
had 4 differnt designs including the primary design. But one
of these designs was the Coutdown To The Millennium M&M's
design. This car was made to promote the beginning of the
Millennium M&M's promotion. Since M&M's was named the
official candy of the new Millennium because MM means 2000.
This was a nice and different looking car. It looked a lot
like the primary M&M's design, but you could see the m&m's
characters lifting up the primary design like a cover
revealing the blue design underneathe. You can check out

different kind of design. Jerry only raced this car at Lowes
Motor Speedway in the UAW-GM 500. Jerry started 10thth in the
race but finished 34th. This was a cool car, but it was only
leading up to a more cooler car..
