![]() Updates for 3-2-2001: It's been a long time since the last update, but this is a major one! The entire site gets a new look (check out the ray-traced, industrial strength navigation toolbar!), except the N-files, and that's only because I haven't finished the graphics section. A new Miscellany section is getting added to house the various items that I've been putting on my site that don't seem to belong in the same categories as anything else. There's been some behind the scenes work to make this web page easier to manage, too, but that's probably not going to be something you'll notice. Pages are getting edited as they're converted to the new format, so many pages will recieve minor updates. There's even some new illustrations for tech articles, at long last. Updates for 12-13-2000: Uploaded this loony picture, even though I'm not sure where to put it. For now, I've tossed it in the Sketchbook. Also, the Dart's page and the Future Mods page get a little updating. Plus, I'll be doing a little more pruning of the links page. Updates for 11-6-2000: Extra! Extra! Read all about it! ICC leaders go on the public record calling the ICC a denomination! No word yet on how this will affect their teaching that denominations are unscriptural. You'll see this, and some other interesting facts about the ICC, in newly unveiled DPI tax paperwork. Also, I've started cleaning up my collection of links, finally. Many of the ones on my page are obsolete or just plain dead. I've started with the automotive section, but I should get more cleaned up tomorrow. Oh, and I've stuck a copyright notice on the main page. Update for 10-31-2000: Finally, I've uploaded pictures of my Chrysler LeBaron. There were more car pictures on that roll of film... watch for a page of local racers (and local beaters) coming soon! Update for 9-6-2000: It's been four months since I last updated the page, and it definitely needs one. The future mods list is out of date (as is the list of current mods on the Dart), some of the links have died, and I really ought to write some more articles on the ICC. However, none of that has happened. Instead, I've bought another car, and made a page about it - which was also something I feel needed doing. Update for 5-6-2000: Disciples demanded it. Critics love it. It's the newest addition to the ICC Archives, Biblical Proof the ICC is Wrong. Those who demanded it might want to be careful what they wish for. Since I'm currently dealing with final exams, right now there is only one article there, but more will be added before the end of the month. Update for 4-19-2000: Looks like a glitch ate a couple of previous updates, but I can't remember them so I won't mention them, except a recent expansion of the Slant Six Sanctum to include information on the Car Craft slant six buildup and something nobody building up a slant six should overlook, the turbocharger. Also, I added a link to Byron and his '63 Valiant. Looks like the early A-bodies are getting quite a lot of attention on the Internet recently, and that's likely to increase once Spitfire finally starts selling an affordable set of V8 headers for them. Update for 2-10-2000: I've added yet another crazy idea to my online sketchpad - a body kit on a K-car station wagon. This time I've even got a digitized sketch to accompany the text. Update for 2-6-2000: Added a link to one of the largest collections of online info about '63-'66 Valiants, and fixed a couple of links on the links page. Update for 1-31-2000: In the first new automotive content for months, I've added a brand new article. Check out Intakes: An Introduction to Induction. This is a more general and more basic tech article than much of my other content, and also aimed just as much at those who drive front-drive econoboxes as those who prefer vintage Detriot iron. Oh, and there's a minor change to the Future Mods page. Update for 1-25-2000: The section on recovering from the ICC receives a new article, Todd Pizeek's list of "bad" things that will happen when you leave the ICC. It's a classic satire on the ICC's constant claims (made only to current members, of course) that assorted horrible things happen to ex-members. I'm also working on some new articles of my own for the automotive section; watch for them later this week. Update for 12-1-1999: I've removed one small section from the N-Files, at the author's request. Update for 11-30-1999: Wow, I really haven't updated things in a while! Right now, the only change I've made has been to update the Future Mods page, since I've managed to get ahold of most of the parts I wanted to buy. Update for 10-20-1999: Not much of an update, but there have been a few changes to the ICoC Concerned Parties' Mailing List rules and the Future Mods page. Update for 10-13-1999: I haven't had much time to work on this page recently, but I have updated the F-body to A-body radiator swap article to reflect some accounts I've heard from other people who have performed this swap. Update for 8-28-1999: I've added a Future Plans page to my Digital Garage. This page will list the parts I've already collected, but haven't installed (since I left my Dart at home when I went to college) as well as parts I'm looking to buy. Another addition is The Poetry Page, consisting of poems I wrote about my experience in the ICC. Update for 8-22-1999: I'm working on a new leaflet. Although the "official" version might not be complete for a while, you can check out what I've come up with so far now. Watch for an "official" release (availible in .WPD and .DOC too) soon, along with Rice-Boy and Muscle Car Redneck tickets in the Automotive section! Updates for 8-2-1999: I just added two links... but Yahoo really made me jump through hoops to log in. I might relocate this page if things get any worse. Updates for 6-19-1999: I've put up a page explaining how to install a Super Six conversion, finally. Pictures will be added sometime after I finish the role of film, get it developed, and get it scanned. I have also added more ICC related material, such as a detailed explanation of why I call them a cult and an update to the N-Files, about online advice given on raising children. Updates for 5-29-1999: The Notes Page continues to grow with the addition of the notes the ICC members took for me during the First Principles studies, and my comments on the notes which I added while converting them to HTML. This page isn't likely to grow any more, unless someone really wants me to transcribe the ICC's hymns too. I've just got to finish tuning my Super Six conversion on my Dart, and then I'll be able to write an article on that. Updates for 5-26-1999: The ICoC Concerned Parties' Mailing List gets its own homepage. This is a list for people who have relatives or friends involved with the ICC and would like to seek advice from former members. I have also added pages of notes I took while in the ICC, and links to the page where you can join the Mopar Mailing List and the new icoc_concerned@onelist.com mailing list. Watch for an in-depth article on the Super Six to appear once I get my installation running. Updates for 5-15-1999: I've expanded my section on cars, with the Online Sketchbook. Unfortunately, Updates for 4-30-1999: The N-Files recieves a major addition in the form of the Roger Poehlmann Page, a compliation of statements posted to the Usenet by a current ICC member. The rest of the ICC Archives has been updated by splitting the lengthy scrolling original page into several subpages. Also, I have added a page about my life after leaving the ICC. You will notice, however, that the Atlanta ICC site has taken its notes offline. Updates for 4-22-1999: I recently got a "V3 URL", which is a bit easier to remember than my usual site location. Now, you can view my site by pointing your broswer at http://drive.to/slantsix. Pleas don't update your bookmarks if you've bookmarked my GeoCities URL, though, as their server occasionally gets overloaded, and the Geocities URL is more reliable. The V3 URL, instead of taking you to the main page, will take you here. Updates for 4-15-1999: I've added a lot more links, and finally got around to uploading more pictures of concept cars. I'm planning on giving the ICC section of my website a bit of an update soon, and add an entire page on Roger Poehlmann to the N-Files. Updates for 3-26-1999: It's not much of a change, but since I've acquired a copy of PGP, I have added my PGP public key to my website for those who wish to contact me by secure email. Updates for 3-21-1999: I've finished writing and added an article on Overcoming the "Bible Allergy" to the section on recovering from the ICC. Also, I've added a paragraph to my essay on "Praying Jesus into your heart," as I've found another verse to back up my claims. Updates for 3-20-1999: Finally, more automotive content! I've scanned in some pictures I took at a recent auto show and used them for this concept cars page. More pictures are to come - I only had time to scan less than half the role so far. Also, I've finally put up the article on seatbelt upgrades. The information I've published on the ICC continues to grow, with a new addition to the Guestbook Hall of Shame and a few more links to ICC-related sites. Also, an ACES Online article that I'd linked to has disappeared; I'll have to track it down or mirror it. I'm planning to add a few more pieces to my Recovering from the ICC section - articles I'm considering include "Overcoming the Bible Allergy" and an examination of a popular ICC book on why (they think) people leave their church. Updates for 3-18-1999: The side by side comparison of First Principles and Dave Anderson's Crtical Analysis has been changed a bit. It now uses a copy of First Principles on the official ICC site. The previous version used a copy which has been posted by a current member. Updates for 3-17-1999: For a limited time only, you can view an ICC webpage under construction and see what kind of image they wish to present to the public. Check out the article in the N-Files for more details. There's no telling how long this offer will last, as they may take this page down at any time. Also, I have added links to several friends' web pages. Updates for 2-23-1999: My links expand a little bit more. I've also joined a new webring, one set up by "Crazy Joe" for sites with content on the ICC and/or Bob Dylan. Speaking of webrings, I found I'd somehow lost the code for the Dance-Away Zone. I've fixed that and put the banner on my ICC Page. My section on recovering from the ICC continues to grow with an essay on understanding mind control. Also, I've put the banners from every webring I've joined in a new section on my Links page. Updates for 2-21-1999: I've expanded my section on recovering from the ICC with a new article on the true doctorine of "Praying Jesus into your heart." I've got a few other ideas for articles there which I hope to finish soon. Updates for 2-13-1999: Finally, the section on fencing gets some real content! I've expanded the description of each weapon and added tons of illustrations from a recent fencing tournament. That 800-speed film certainly seems to be all it's cracked up to be. Also, I have begun work on a new area of the ICC Archives: advice on recovering from the ICC. It will contain advice based on what I have learned recovering my mind and my sanity from the spiritual abuse of the ICC. Updates for 2-3-1999: I found the missing roll of film and got it developed. You can see what was on it at the Dart Photo Gallery. Right now something's wrong with the fencing section, but I haven't bothered to fix it as I'm about to give it a total renovation, using pictures I took at a tournament last weekend. Updates for 1-23-1999: I've finally added more Mopar content, How to Install an F-Body Radiator in a '63-'66 A-body. Unfortunately, I seem to have lost an important roll of film, putting my plans for the Dart Photo Gallery on hold for a while. I've made a lot of changes to the ICC Archives, including formatting a few pages that were previously plain text to match the rest of the site, a revised HTML version of Leaflet 3, and some new links, both to ICC critics and unofficial pages by current ICC members. Updates for 1-16-1999: I've put in a new page of quotes for the Guestbook Hall of Shame today, taken from the TOLC guestbook. I've also fixed a link in the N-Files now that the Rose Bowl service has moved off the front news page on the official ICC website. Something seems to have gone wrong with the ACES Online website (the other article cited about the Rose Bowl); I'll see where the other page has moved. If ACES Online has gone permanently offline, though, I'll have to mirror the article, which I downloaded and saved in case it disappeared or was altered. I've also found an amusing postscript to the Rose Bowl story. Updated for 1-14-1999: Added a few links, one to CarTalk's website and two ICC-related links. Updates for 1-12-1999: One feature which was lost alongside the links page was that I had provided links to an official online copy of the First Principles studies and Dave Anderson's Bible-based analysis of them. Now, I've made an improved version, in the first frame-based page I've ever created. Now you can read the two documents side by side. I've made a few other minor tweaks to the ICC section. New pictures in the cars section will arrive as soon as I develop the film... Updates for 1-11-1999: Something - or someone - happened to my website while I was away on Christmas vacation. The main pages about cars, the ICC, and my links were all deleted. A day before I first recieved an email about how the pages were missing, an irate ICC member emailed me complaining about how I had been "persecuting" their church. Coincedence? I honestly don't know. But I have put those pages back up, with some major rewriting. Updates for 12-14-1998: Whew, I've finally finished putting in my site's new look! I've added new logos and the navigation toolbar to nearly all the pages (except the N-Files, which are meant to have a look of their own), and made a few other changes to the content. New images on the car-related page should be coming in once I get back from my Christmas break. Also, my page is now 100% clip art free now that I replaced the GeoCities separator GIF with one of my own - ray traced of course to match my page's look. Updates for 12-13-1998: I've replaced the big navigation buttons with smaller ones. My guestbook now uses the same background and color sceme as the rest of my page, and if you view my guestbook you'll see a new ray-traced logo for it. Updates for 12-12-1998: I've started working on giving my page a major face-lift. So far the only page to sport this new look is the index page, but that'll change very soon. All the pages except the N-files will get this new look, with the green stripe background, jade navigation toolbar, and ray-traced title graphics. Now I've trimmed over 50K from my opening page by replacing the opening transparent .gif with a .jpeg. The only downside is that this page no longer works as well if you're using 640x480. I've also applied most of the new look to the What's New page, TetriNet page, and some car pages. I need to do a seperator to replace the GeoCities clip art though. Updates for 11-30-1998: The Guestbook Hall of Shame continues to grow, with new entries from Daniel de Sailles' guestbook. It's already outgrown my editor's maximum file length, and I've split it up into individual files for each guestbook. Also, I have now joined the MML webring, and added a new link to the newly created Dodge Dart registry. Updates for 11-24-1998: I've made a major addition to the N-Files: the Guestbook Signature Hall of Shame. This contains some of the most shocking comments people claiming to be current ICC members have left in their critics' guest books. Right now I only have messages from two sites posted, but there's a lot more where that came from. Watch that page, as I expect it to grow a lot in the coming weeks. I've added another Usenet post to the N-Files as well. Updates for 11-22-1998: The N-Files are now on line. I've just started keeping records for them a week ago. Also, I have added some links to pro-ICC pages, as well as expanded my library of links in all areas. Also, there's the following new banner on my main page: ![]() Lastly, I have made a few inconspicious changes to my site to make it easier for search engines to find it. Updates for 11-14-1998: I've added a new Hit Counter from BeSeen to my main page, and a link to their website (where you can get a lot of other cool free stuff like message boards) on my Links Page. Updates for 10-31-1998: Well, first off, this What's New page is itself new! Also, I have added a section on Fencing. Right now it's a bit sparcely filled in, but I'll fill in more details later, including pictures of the target areas for each weapon and possibly a few actual photographs. With the introduction of the Fencing page, I'm removing my "Under Construction" sign from the main page. Also, the introduction on The ICC Page has been rewritten, and some new links have been added. Coming Attractions: More graphics for the Fencing pages, a new look for the Slant Six Sanctum and possibly a new logo for the ICC page, and ray-traced graphics to expand your TetriNet horizons! |
