"Brown-Eyed Girl"

          Molly Dog

Hello, my name is Molly! You can call me Molly or Gus, whichever you prefer. That's me, up there.  Right now I'm a big girl: I'm almost 4! I am, as you can clearly tell, a Golden Retriever.  I'm so cute. Heh³... Actually some people say I'm too white to be a golden (the nerve!) but I am just a very light and creamy golden. And my face is really long, but that's okay because it makes me look really cute. I was born in Tokyo, Japan on a special holiday - Japanese Girl's Day! Maybe that's why my litter was 5 girls and 1 boy?  Hmm..makes sense.  Anyways, it's a very special occasion when all the girls in Japan get presents (hee hee hee). So mark the date on your calander, March 3rd, and remember to send gifts.

By the way, this song is called "Brown-Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison.  I'm brown-eyed, and I'm a girl! Whoa.. what a coinky-dink! Actually, this song is kind of like my theme song, and if you watch Ally Mcbeal, which I do, every Sunday, then you'll know what that is!

My buddy grew up with a golden retriever who lived next door named Molly... I guess that's where my name comes from.  But I have several nicknames, like "Gus" "Dog" "Thing" and "Blonde".  My dad's dog (German Shep) was named Gus, and so they all call me that sometimes, because it's so funny to them.  I'm just the complete opposite of a guard dog like a German Shepard, I guess.  I lick everybody that comes in the house and love them.  I'm just so unbelievably sweet! They call me Dog and Thing because it's convienient, not to disrespect me or anything. I know they love me to pieces! "Feed the Thing," "Take out the Thing," and "Watch that Thing," are all common phrases in this house.

I like Japan a lot, it's my home.  I'm a Japanese dog.  However, I was in California for about half a year, but that's a long story.  I love California almost as much as Tokyo, though, especially the breezy car rides.  In Japan I almost choke from the pollution when I ride in the car! Anyways, my (real) daddy is named Rambo.  My people always say I have Rambo Genes and that's why I get so hyper a lot.  About once a week I spaz out and just ran crazy around the house as fast as I can for about ten minutes. It's hilarious.  But then, Lulu, my mother, was sweeter than sugar, so I came out the same =)

~ My ears are EXTREMELY TICKLISH! When someone blows on them they "jump" and wiggle. And I smile this goofy smile when my ears are tickled.
~ My reflection in the mirror fascinates (and sometimes scares!) me.
~ We lived in this huge house and the one part had mirrors on three sides.  When I was a puppy I got stranded there crying until someone came. SCAREY!
~I love to ride in cars!  Before I used to throw up every car ride, but now I love it when I get to go places with my family.
~ I was walking down the street in California and there was an open car door and I jumped right in and was expecting to just take off, but then a man came and started laughing and told me to beat it.
~ When it snows I like to bury my nose in the snow and run about 10 feet with my nose in the snow. I look like a snow plow..
          Heh heh heh.. huh??
Thanks for taking the time to meet me!
