Knowing Christ is the greatest privilege for me. My past life was without any assurance of the salvation. So before I haven't known Christ as my Savior yet, I was a worshipper of idols, so was my family. Most of my mother's relatives were worshippers of idols, but on my father's side, most are believers in Christ. I used to go to "red" temples with my brother and parents to worship there. Red flowers are charming, only don't turn the red into anger.
One day my brother got a dengue fever, an acute, infectious tropical disease caused by a virus transmitted by the bite of a mosquito (Aedes aegypti) and characterized by fever, jaundice, vomiting, etc. The disease was so severe that the doctor who attended my brother stated that there was no hope for him to live, for all his body had turned purple already with the crimson dots spreading all over his body. Purple flowers are beautiful, but don't ever imagine the purple body.
As my father's relatives heard of that, they came together to pray for my brother with all their heart. Amazingly my brother was healed. Who else did it, but the Lord Jesus Christ who is the same yesterday, today and forever. 2000 years ago, He came to heal, and now He is still healing through our faith. It's amazing, isn't it ... Amazing Grace how sweet the sound ...
After the experience, we burnt out all our red idols' devices we possessed, and became believers in Christ. There are many cases happened like this in Indonesia. It must be because of the prayers of the Saints for the salvation of many people. And I think that you are included in one of the believers who prayed like that, aren't you.
I got an amazing grace that was bestowed to me and my family, that's the salvation from the Lord Jesus and the redemption by His blood. That's why I like to tell about His mighty deeds in me.
