I have done everything I can to fix this script error, but I have no control over the scripts that Geocities uses on the pages. AOL Browser
AOL Browser uses compressed graphics, and this turns .gifs and .jpgs into .art format, which no graphics editing software can open and no browser except AOL browser will show. So If you look at your page through your AOL browser, it will look fine, but anyone using another browser will see no graphics. You can turn compression off,in your preferences. In Aol 3.0 Click on member, preferences and then www. and uncheck compressed graphics. In version 4 I think preferences are under my aol,(I'm not sure because I haven't had aol for years so feel free to correct me. Most systems have MSIE on them, and the online services are always sending out disks with Netscape on them, so if you have one of thos browsers on your computer, you can use it with AOL . While you are signed on to AOL, just start up the browser of your choice. You can only use it for browsing, not email, but it is worth it. If you have more questions, see the faq |
