Heavy Equipment Warning

Driving Safety Contest entry

In early 1996, the Canadian government organized a contest to create a driving safety campaign that would be aimed at young adult drivers. This contest was open to all design schools in Canada as well as the United States. This contest became one of the assignments for our Junior-year Visualizations course.
The theme of this poster was that driving is a dangerous activity if handled with negligence. I used the allegory of a heavy equipment warning label to illustrate the idea that automobiles present the same level of danger when used improperly.
