Introduction to String Quilting
All Levels - Half Day

String quilting is a time-honored scrap quilt technique that lets you recycle all those long, skinny "strings" and bits and pieces left over from other projects into colorful, uninhibited patchwork. This introductory class will show some of the simplest variations of this easy scrap technique. Everyone will sew four different string blocks, and learn how to create wonderful, vibrant designs by hand or machine. The class can also be done as a lecture/demo for large groups.

Details, Details...

Fees are available upon request.

Door-to-door transportation to and from my home (Upper East Side of Manhattan) must be covered. If I'm traveling over two hours from NYC, I prefer to stay overnight, especially the night before a full-day class, or following an evening lecture. I can stay in a hotel or your guest room, as long as I have a private room, my own bath, and a non-smoking environment. Pets are fine, especially cats!

All arrangements must be made in advance, and a contract must be sent as soon as possible in order to confirm a date.

Supply lists and other info will be sent with a signed contract. Pictures are available on request.
