About My Painting

In Chinese Painting, my favorite subject matter is the tiger, birds and scenery. To paint the tiger and birds especially the sparrows, I spent some hundred preliminary sketchs ( including sketches from the museum and by direct observation at the zoo, before I felt prepared to execute the painting in ink-wash.
