Woodcarving.org Here is a place to check out. They have a bunch of carving related links.

Diane's Bird Carvings has some nice bird carvings.

Mark Richard Bosworth's Fine Art Wood Sculpture has some nice sculpture pieces worth taking a look at. Better get yourself a cup of java... this site takes a long time to load.

Fine WoodWorking Here is a group of guys that I have had the pleasure of working with. Check out some of the woodworking that they do.

Norwegian Woodcarving A family of woodcarvers located in the western part of Norway doing mostly figures & caricatures.

Scandinavian Carving School More of the traditional carving like you've seen on my page. There are also tools & other stuff there.

Leif Utegaard is a talented artist that works in both wood & stone. His creations range from the realistic to imaginative, with some carousel animals in between.

Viking Art Some information & pictures of ancient viking designs includina the "Urnes" stave church entry portal.





Tools


Arbortech Has a nice attachment for your angle grinder to help with your carving. They also have a new mini-grinding attachment thah I am looking forward to checking out.



Fonts


J R Compton's Fontaholics Anonymous is the only font site you need to bookmark! There are tons of links to hundreds of fonts there.



Artists


BadArt When you think of using colored pencils as an art medium you think of something that looks like a pencil drawing, right? Well guess again. Looking at the images on the BadArt homepage you'd swear that you were looking at a photograph! If you don't think these are pencil renderings, check out some other artists at the CPSA gallery.

Bare Metal Foil This place is COOL! If you like 3 dimentional sculpted models, take a look at this site. Lots of information and articles on casting & mold making.

Central Creative Contumacy Kallen's abstract art is in CCC's gallery that "was created to showcase artwork that refuses to accept current-day conventional artistic standards. In other words to fly in the face of every Robert Bateman disciple. This aint no hotel lobby".

Daviner's Gallery "Jim Daviner has been painting since 1954. A self taught artist, he successfully blends techniques ranging from expressionism to modern representationalism in his work". From lighthouses to wildlife, Jim's watercolors are truly exquisite! A fast loading site that is a pleasure to surf.
