Sounds I MakeI'm primarily a flute and pennywhistle player.I play both silver (Boehm) and wooden flutes. I also do a little finger-picking on guitar. In the last few years I have been concentrating on folk, rock, and Celtic music, though I have also played classical, jazz, and blues. I always play for fun, and occasionally for money. I play professionally in the Celtic duo Dobhran. I also play in a rock band. In my spare time I make and sell pennywhistles. In my other spare time, I play in pick-up bands for Irish Dance, English Country Dance and Contra Dance, in African drum circles, and at Irish music sessions. Some day I would like to play in a Brazilian or Afro-pop band! |
