I didn't get to finish yesterday's entry, and at any rate, I just erased it. So, here we go:
I went out with Remington last night to his friends' apartment- Melissa and Bill (engaged, I think) and Yamara/Marianne from newsgroup (didn't see much of her, she was doing homework). Went to the Woodland mall so Melissa could return some defective sheets, wandered a few stores, looking for Trivial Pursuit. Remington and I were all cutesy again...it is a switch from The Moron who didn't like PDA. When we got up to their door he had his arm around me (awww), we walked around like that through the mall as well. It's such a switch to actually look like a couple...We went out to a Mexican joint (not great), then back to play Trivial Pursuit.
A surprising coinkidink was that Briana, a girl I met off the ucd.english newsgroup (back when people posted on it) last spring, turned out to be their next-door neighbor. Damn, it is a small world after all sometimes...anyway, Briana and her roommate Jeannie came over to play TP (wow, didn't that abbreviation look bad? Like we were out doing the neighbor's house or sumfin'.) around the middle of the game. Remington had his head in my lap most of the time or other cutesy stuff...which I'll admit was interesting to do in front of someone my own age (well, Briana's in my grade anyway). I wonder what she thought of the business...well, she asked him his age (they'd never met before), he said 29 (not yet! geez!), and she said he was like 1 1/2 times her age (huh?) or something like that. Ouch. So didn't need to hear that, thanks. Okay, so I do feel a little funny dating up in the food chain when I'm around people my own age... I suspect he'll think my friends are childish dingbats...well, then again, they admittedly are...no wonder I feel squeamish about introducing him around to my crowd, even though I get along with his. Or asking him if we can double date with Sarah and Ryan (if she ever asks him out...she's nervous...wants company for it...I haven't asked him about that). After the games were over, I laid around in his lap for awhile before going back to my place...I found out a few details I hadn't known before, that no one gets to go in his messy place (well, if it's so bad, you could uh, clean it), and that his bed in the apt is awful (hmmm, guess that somewhat explains his being over here a lot...). He was griping that he'd have to spend tonight (Tues. night) at home 'cause in the a.m. he has to go have breakfast with his aunt. I already miss hearing from him today...wow, is this ever going to be sad when he goes off to Chicago for another month...ugh, I won't be fun then.
I saw a bruise on his neck that may have been a hickey...well, it seemed the right size, but no teeth marks like well, mine, and the location...how do you bruise your neck? I have to admit I was a little bothered by the thought that he got one from the other chick...I don't know for sure, and do I want to know? Not really. I think he was in SC for only a day or so (Mon. he did actual work, what a shock!). I asked how it was, he said (slowly, either unenthusiasticallly or trying to hide something) "...pretty good." Hmmmm.
Well, at any rate he was with me tonight...and he said I was good to him...awww.
The next a.m. we're leaving my room, and Kayda comes out behind us...how embarrassing, in a way...well, ouch...she had a 30 year old (I think?) chasing after her and we were all grossed out...and now, hahahahahahaha, lookie what I'm dating. Not that she hasn't had her ex sleep over in the dorm either, but it was still weird. I'm not used to this yet.
So, while at school today...I was waiting around in the hall (the English office building) for English club meeting to start. Kim (English club runner #1) had gone to get the key for the room, Renee (runner #2) and I were waiting around...when I saw this creepy woman in black going down the stairs...
While scrounging 'round Remington's page one afternoon, I found a pic of his aunt the English prof, and I remembered thinking "My God, she's got bad hair." Same hair on this woman...but she looked all cranky and mean...dragon lady...I figured that was his aunt. Yikes.
Okay, not like the woman could recognize me...I hope she's never even heard of me (not that I know, or that I'm going to ask if he mentioned me to her), but still...bizarre somehow...she walked by Renee and I and Renee said "I had her for 113B, she was really funny." I asked if that was Osborn, but Kim showed up and she never got to answer. Funny? Well, I guess that runs in the family... and Remington does apparently get along with her enough to write a book, that says good for her...but still, I don't think I want to take any class of hers...I mean, what if I bombed it? How embarrassing. There's going to be some sort of English pizza party on Thurs. I think I'll go to, K & R said that faculty shows up- how weird. Be really weird if she showed though.
I came out on Spotfans today about bet-losing...and here was Victor's response to it.

And today I must announce that Anna and Warren are now officially engaged. Congratulations, guys!

I talked to Anna tonight (she saw Spotfans too) and she found it amusing that I'm doing what she did... I said it was all her fault, she influenced me. Oh yeah, and she said something like "We told you you were going to lose that bet...you were sooo sure you were going to win and you lost..." Remind me to NEVER MAKE ANOTHER BET AGAIN!
Won't be seeing her over break...she's going to Washington. Lucky. Remington mentioned awhile back having me stay w/ him for spring break, but my parents would kill me...well, I am getting out of finals early, maybe if I claim I'm staying for the next few days after I'm done to hang with Sarah and then go off to his farmhouse...that could work. But even if they wouldn't kill me for shacking up, they'd kill me for not being able to see me for a week when they could normally see me. We're discussing going to Ashland in English club after school gets out (probably won't happen, but it'd be fun), and it'd be hard enough talking them into that, much less...
I'm watching Felicity right now, and rolling my eyes...ah, she gets a new boyfriend, I get a new boyfriend...hmm, my life imitating the show again?
Geez, she just walks up to Noel and says she wants to have sex? How long they been going out? Gee, can you make a wild guess that this episode will end WITHOUT FELICITY HAVING SEX? CHOOSING TO "WAIT?" Such a complete CLICHE, folks!!!! I'm so bloody sick of seeing the teenagers-should-never-have-sex-shows. Even when practically everyone else in the show does it, the lead CANNOT. Sheeeesh! Gag me. Can they please do something original for a change?

She just immediately got the Pill? No embarrassing exam? (Okay, not that they were likely to show that, but still...) Free condoms? Hello, our school charges for that. As for practicing with the dildo, we had to wait for the health people to come by the dorm to do a demo (although we did get free condoms for coming!). And she got that bra awfully fast in the mail...ha, I've never gotten clothes that fast in the mail!
Is it sex week on the WB? First Felicity doesn't do it, then Dawson does...hmmm, can you say ratings week?
Ooh, setting the tree on fire...in the RA's room...damn, that's funny! But just attacking him like that? Ouch, and yeah, right. I was laughing so hard Megan came in wondering what I was doing.
Okay, gag me that the reason that they don't do it is Ben (again)...this is getting old...why does it matter? Does anyone know? Isn't she over it yet? I soooo agree with Elena here for a change. Right on, girl!
In general, this show's driving me nuts tonight...for more reasons than I will ever admit to on the Internet...and that's driving me nuts that I can't comment on things! Y'all really don't need to know that...but it bothers me to keep things deep-sixed, since I'm so used to blabbing practically everything now here. I will only say that a few things early on in the show that I haven't mentioned here hit a nerve in the comparison department...
I'm not saying anything that I've done or didn't do, just that a few of the things on her mind has been on mine. That's all.
