Extracurricular Activities

"The absolute yearning of one human body for another particular body and its indifference to substitutes is one of life's major mysteries."-Iris Murdoch
You know when you've gotten to the crazy part of the relationship when...

you both admit that you think about each other all day long.

Yep, folks, it happened. He thinks about me all day long at work (and admitted to it), I admitted to thinking about him all day at school.

WOW.

I think I'd better watch out.

I still can't say for sure if I'm in love with him or not, or deny it. However, I have been feeling very loving towards him the past couple of days.

Ai yi yi. Things are getting seriouser and seriouser. We're supposed to get together tonight when we're back from our respective meetings- well, it's 10:40 and I am, he's not. Which is okay, since it gave me time to shower and well, write this.

Ever have one of those days when you finally pull your head out of the clouds and notice that you're in minor trouble? there's a lot of stuff I haven't done because I've been chasing Remington around. Did that today, when I realized that I'm supposed to have The Mayor of Casterbridge FINISHED for Victorian lit. by Friday. I'm halfway through, just didn't feel like reading it. Ooops. And I have to do science reading, I think...he's off on the schedule. Total need to play catchup...so of course I come on here and do an entry. Brillyunt, Jen. Also, intermediate self-defense starts tomorrow, and I have yet to sign up for it. Ooops.

I think having a boyfriend should count as an extracurricular activity. It takes up a surprising amount of time. A shock to me, to have an actual boyfriend to do typical boyfriend things with.

Anyway, a busy-ass day. Go to class, go read poems for poetry board, attempt to sign up for self-defense, only "oh, we don't know what happened to the papers, call this number" (which nobody was at when I had time to call, I'm doubting if I'll even get into the class now), eat lunch, go to boring discussion, go to class, go home and check mail (arrange w/ Remington that one of us'll e-mail the other when we get home tonight), go to poetry board meeting, which runs late, hurry home, call the # (no answer), change clothes quickly, go off to initiation thing for KON.

My parents didn't fight at it, which was a relief. And it was an hour long (phew). And I got flowers along with my big-deal certificate. Other than that, it was basically like high school, the same leadership blather spouted at us just like I got in home ec club for four years. Oh, and I found out that this is "Family and Consumer Sciences honor society" or something like that. Well, now I know what I'm actually in...

He just called. Renting "Life of Brian" tonight. No homework for me...=)
