Michael Reilly saw my webpage, e-mailed me, and has since become a good friend. He is the first person who made the transition from net-correspondent to real life friend for me.
Kit has become a good friend, even though I've only known him a couple months now. Kit is doing the pre-Veterinary track at UMASS, which is fitting, because it is the one thing that he seems to get very excited about. When I was last in Boston, we went to the aquarium together, and had an exceptional time. Kit is usually seen with a huge bright smile, as you can see in the pictures of him on his homepage.
Steve Gevurtz is a friend for the long haul. I think. We were roommates our first year in college. Steve's old band Learning To Play rivals all others no longer. It was a bit like a cross between Beat Happening and the Cramps. With a little Linda Ronstant for good measure. Nope. They weren’t indie-trendy one damn bit.
Cathy Davies is a wonderful web artist, typographer, and fellow Hampshire alumn. She's just left a major web design company to work freelance. Her fonts have been used in Blockbuster Video commercials, and her exquisite web design work apears on the Nike website and on MTV music video awards page. Part of her Hampshire College Division 3 was a virtual panhandeling pallace called charity.artificial.com which is a finalist in competition for a grant from PBS. Check it out!
James is a really funny bald guy (often spotted with a very mischievous smile) who likes to borrow my books. AKA, Rev. Deluces Caged Bound and Gagged, he is a certified Church of the Subgenius minister....(legal in all three states). When he's not dancing nekkid at the burning man festival, he is discovering his life's dream as a political activist in California.
Maria is one of my longest running friends who I've met on the internet, and have yet to meet in real life. For all I know she could be the alter ego of a 14 year old boy-scout - but I doubt it. She is very friendly, even if she does wear predominantly black clothing.
Stever Robbins and I also met via e-mail, and have since met in real life as well. Stever is an Elite Master Trainer of NLP, a Harvard MBA, and a legendary party host. He is very, very intelligent, and quite nice too. Stever has decided to pursue teaching NLP, and has recently founded The Verstek Group, a company which teaches and consults on NLP and other topics.
Ayal Spitz will one day get his web page in order, so that he can be officially great at every single thing involving computers. I am not really sure what it is that he does for a living. My current conception is that he builds the computer games the secret service uses to keep the president out of trouble. However, I trust that he is doing well.
burn like a fire in Cairo (the homepage of Leigh Claire La Berge, a close friend who lives next door) is a clever juxtaposition of Albert Camus, the Cure, cynicism and the general ramifications of living in a post-industrialist society. Kind of witty, very cute, and a tad bitchy-just like her. LC is a wonder to be around, and mighty damn intelligent to boot!

Dan Crocker is a Hampshire friend. The thing I like about hanging out with Dan, is that he radiates a sense of sarcasm, and understatement which appeals to my less secure side. He is quite fun and funny, and we frequently have the same taste in movies.
Ben Breakstone is a cool guy, even though he keeps trying to make his star bigger than everybody else's, (apparently Socialist equality does not apply to web page icons!)! He is a compulsive HTML fixer too. Ben has left school entirely. Though a very, very smart man, Ben's ability to tolerate structure is even less developed than mine. I wish him the best.
