RHODES-FARLEY WEDDING
        Preparations

Heather arrived at TRF around 10am that Sunday morning. She immediately went to Twisted Sister, the hairbraiding establishment near the new Odeon Theatre. There, she met up with her Maid of Honor, Mary Chesney; and Bridesmaids Pamela Harris and Johanna Munoz. It required about twenty minutes to complete Heather's braiding, as the staff at Twisted Sister took special care to make her "Bridal Crown" truly unique! (Photos, right and left: drawing up Heather's hair in preparation for braiding).

The ladies of the Wedding Party proudly line up to show off their new French braids (Photo, above). Left to Right, they are: Mary Chesney, with an elegant circlet; Pamela Harris, with a traditional long braid; Heather, wearing her "Bride's Crown", bedecked with baby's breath and colorful ribbons for the joyous occasion; and Johanna Munoz, with another, simple-but-elegant circlet. Following their hairbraiding session at Twisted Sister, the ladies then took Johanna shopping for some appropriate garb. It says much of both TRF and the merchants therein that she both found and acquired a complete Rennish costume -- with accessories! -- all in barely more than 30 minutes at faire!

Don gives sincere thanks that the great day has finally arrived (Photo, right: taken in the Moroccan Bazaar). Together with Best Man Michael McDane Harris, he visited Lord McLaughlin's across from the Maypole at TRF, where he quickly garbed up in true Highland finery. While the tartan he wears in this photo is not the Farley tartan -- alas! -- it is a close match to the true Farley colors!
