in depth look at poem: this was inspired mostly by a chat me and my c-girl were having. She talked about writing a poem called "silent scream" and that inspired me to write this.


I hear the silent cry

I hear the silent cry again -
I hear her crying out for life,
as the life is ripped from her
and death is forced in....

and I hear silence.
deathly silence from those
who I thought would reach out,
those who can save her life...

I hear the voiceless scream out -
I hear him screaming out for life,
for a chance to live before
his life is taken away...

and I hear silence.
when I should be hearing outcries
against those who kill for convenience,
those who support abortion....
the murder of the innocent.
