I am pro-life because
abortion is the taking of an innocent life. The thing
at stake here is not the right of choice for a woman
rather it is the matter of life and death for an
innocent life. Abortion is the taking of an innocent
human life all for the sake of convenience.
Many people say to me
"I am pro-life except when the woman was raped or her
life is in danger". I disagree with that statement. I
think that just because someone did a terrible sin to
a woman that doesn't mean that the woman should turn
around and do another (greater) sin. By killing the
baby she is taking an innocent life for another man's
sin.
I think that a woman
should not be allowed to have an abortion if her life
is danger. (this seems very heartless...but please
listen..you can argue later) I think that the ultimate
decision of who lives and who dies should be in the
hands of Almighty God and not humans. I think that the
child should be given a chance to live and not killed
before even given a chance.
Many people say to me
"but if you outlaw abortion people will do it anyway
and will do it in unsafe ways" But I say that no
matter what the law you make against anything...there
will always be people doing it anyway. Say for
example, killing (which, in reality, is what abortion
is). There is a law against murder, yet people still
kill other people. See, the fact is, no matter what
the crime, you will still have people do it in back
alleys and in unsafe conditions. That is no reason to
kill innocent people. That is a lousy excuse.
