What is the Drexel CO-OP?

Interested in working on a television show in Hollywood? Feel like learning the ins-and-outs of a major film set? What if you could do this while still in school and get paid for it? Drexel Film & Video majors do it every year as part of the University's unique co-op program. Six months of the junior year of study are devoted to the co-op experience. During this time students forego traditional classes and instead work full-time for local or national production companies in a variety of entry-level positions. Students gain professional experience and make invaluable industry connections in their chosen field.

Some past co-op employers of film and video students include:

-USA Network, New York
-HBO Network, New York
-Twelve Monkeys Production Company, feature film shot in Philadelphia
-Video Smith, Inc, Philadelphia
-NFL Films, Mount Laurel New Jersey
-Universal Studios, Orlando
-NBC, New York
-Paramount Studios, Los Angeles
-Video News International, Philadelphia.
