WET #44: Summoned

WET 44: Summoned!I used most of the images from the original WET 44. I challenged myself to adjust colors on each of the individual images, using (mostly) the Hue/Saturation/Lightness function to try to coordinate them in a (dismal) greenish tone that matched the doors. Several copies of the statue were copied and rotated, and eventually blended together, which created the inner frame. Then the harps (from the door) were cut, color changed, and pasted on a separate layer. The bat flew in on his own once he was color-coordinated and summoned, and chose his spot. :) The "crystals" were created by filling a large square with the color-changed pumpkin image (that had been sharpened with uniform noise added), circle deforming twice, then pasting an inverted copy, a 45% left copy and a 45% right copy as layers, blending on "multiply" after adding each one. Then I inverted the colors and adjusted color again to match. The background "fabric" was done by creating an image that contained the skeleton 4 different positions (including mirrored and flipped) that were motion blurred each time. Then this image was used as a pattern to fill the background layer of the final image. The frame and mats were created using colors from the statue, then buttonized. I was rather depressed with my results, but since I was trying to make something that wasn't cheerful, I guess that means I succeeded! LOL

![]() This is a smaller version of the original image posted for us to use. Thank you! |
This image was created using Paint Shop Pro 5, especially for the WET #44 project.
It is my original creation based on the original WET image obtained from jimbird on-line
through alt.binaries.comp-graphics.
Thank you!
