Get your own Free HomepageFrom time to time, you come across a place that's worth lingering at. This is as true in life as it is on the web. Many homepages offer 'awards' to pages that they like. In true unoriginal style, the coffeepot is following suit and will send awards to pages with which I'm particularly impressed.
So, all you award collectors out there (and I've stumbled across a few), how can you apply for one of these awards?
Well, tough luck, because you can't. I'm not an intrinsically motivated man and the effort of sending out awards to all and sundry doesn't appeal. So when I come across a site I like, I'll give them a little graphic (award) to place on their page if they desire. Then I'll put a link & a bit about them here. Because it seems to me that there is an awful lot of crud out there.
If you're still interested in getting one of these, then sign my guestbook, give me a link to your page, make yourself known in one way or another. Don't take offence if you get nothing. I am not in the habit of trawling through stuff more than I have to, and even if I really liked your page then it's unlikely I'll ever get round to telling you.
Of course it means that those people who DO get an award, are exceptional (and highly recommended) so why not drop by and see what the fuss is about?
Once in a while you come across someone who is not only enthusiastic and helpful, but also talented. It only takes one visit to Ugli Coyote's Howl, to realise that this is the work of somebody who cares passionately about his art but also knows how best to use the medium of the internet. Visit this site and take time to linger over it and savour it's finer moments, you won't regret it.

The writing is great, the graphics are wonderful and the whole story is webbed together fantastically. I was gobsmacked by this site & you should be too!
