In San Leon, certain members of our Volunteer Fire Department who are Certified EMT's carry out a First-Responder program. We respond directly to the scene, and begin assessment and critical care until EMS arrives. Medics in our department have been trained in Basic Trauma Life Support, including Advanced Level.
