DHTML Button Bar

Overview

Here is a way to create a DHTML enhanced button bar which degrades gracfully for older browsers (depending on the colors you choose). The effect is dependant on the browser used as follows:

MS Internet Explorer 4.x - The buttons appear as 3-d buttons, when the mouse is placed over a button it patially depresses, and when the mouse is clicked on a button it fully depresses.

Netscape Navigator 4.x - The buttons appear as 3-d buttons, but are not animated.

Older Browsers - There are normal hyperlinks arranged in table cells.

Note: You should be familiar with using HTML Tables, Colors and CSS Styles, to use this technique.

Warning: Netscape 4.5 can become unstable when using CSS styles like this.  See the Tip Section for more information.
