FrontPage 98 and GeoCities Help

Overview

These pages contain tips on how to use FrontPage 98 with a GeoCities home site. FrontPage is a good HTML page editor and can be used to create pages at GeoCities. There are some restrictions on using FrontPage at GeoCities, which I have summarized in the Rules Page.

Beginners Help

The basic process is that you create your page(s) on your hard drive, and then upload the page and image files to GeoCities. I have instructions for creating a local file web in my FrontPage Startup Page, my Publish page describes the options for uploading to GeoCities, and Read the Rules Page.

GeoGuide and Counter

Instead of using my pages which give the instructions for the GeoGuide and Page Counter from GeoCities. You might want to try the FrontPage Add On for them at the Answer Point's MS FrontPage information center.
