![]() ![]() Blind students can, and should be encouraged to, take advantage of the save scholorship opportunities tha are available to sighted students. In addition, every year the National Federation of the Blind awards over $100,000 in scholarships to worthy blind students. Blind educators and representatives from throughout the nation meet annually a tthe National Center for the Blind to select and award our scholoarships. The National Federation of the Blind of Arkansas would like to congratulate Daryl Swinson, President of the Crawford County Chapter, for winning one of the 1998 scholarships.
