Okay, it's been 7 months without an update, to let you all know, I never wanted to give up this page, but I was in alot of trouble for a few months. I was unemployed, looking for a job, plus I had just gotten engaged, so there was no way in hell that I would be able to do this page with all the time consuming problems I had in the real world. But now I got a great new job at Spectra Aluminum, and me and my fiancee are doing great, so I have alot more time to keep on working on this page. I have also got a new toy for my computer that allows me to create real videos, so check out the multimedia section, I added one today. Sorry to everyone for the inconvenience, but I will keep up to date now......

Just received this email this morning from Bob Oister who attended show #50 of Jackyl's run for the world record. Thought you all might like to read it, so here it is! Thanks to Bob for sending this in...

Just saw Jackyl tonight at show #50 of the band's run for the Guinness Book of World Records (100 shows in 50 days).  The show was a surprise free concert in the parking lot of a nightclub here in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area of Pennsylvania.  Earlier today, Jackyl also played a special concert in the back yard of a lucky listener of a local radio station.  The surprise show tonight was only announced on the radio station about an hour before it began and I was lucky enough to happen to turn on the radio in just enough time to get organized and drive to the show.  It was well worth it!  The band punched out a high energy set that made for one powerful hour of kick ass rock 'n roll!  Especially since they've been doing 2 shows a day for the past 25 days!  They were playing on a tractor trailer that was converted into a wild looking "showmobile" type stage that they're using to drag the equipment around and use as a portable stage.   After the show while buying the new "Prime Cuts" CD, my wife and I were lucky enough to talk to Jesse for a second and have him sign the CD.  Many of the crowd were buying CDs and t-shirts and getting autographs.  According to Jesse, they're apparently playing Atlantic City, NJ tomorrow and Baltimore, Md on Sunday.  I basically told him to keep up the great work and don't ever change, like some of the other good rock bands that thought they needed to take a foray into that "alternative" crap to make new fans and sell more records.  He simply said "We do what we do and that's it!"  I think he hit the nail on the head and that's why they still crank out "real " rock 'n roll!  By the way, besides the 3 new songs on "Prime Cuts", there're 2 killer live versions of "Dirty Little Mind" and "Redneck Punk".  Anyway, you said on your website to send email if anybody had any news, so this news is only 6 hours old and I thought you might like an update.  By the way, the site looks great!  Keep up the good work!

  Keep on Rockin' Bob Oister
