In The Mind's Eye > 5

Katriona scratched at the wig. It's long hair made her neck hot, but it hid her bright red hair from view and left dark brown locks in its place.

She rounded a corner and jacked her reflective sunglasses higher onto her nose. She couldn't risk being identified.

She had found the right gate, and indeed, it was expect that the plane come 20 minutes late. She bought a Coke and sat down, keeping a close eye on the gate.

Suddenly, 3 very familiar blonde boys showed.

Katriona watched them. Her nerves suddenly jangled. She couldn't do this. She had planned and planned on how to do this, but suddenly, she just wanted to run. She couldn't follow through.

But someone else did it for her.

---

Zac groaned. "Ike."

Isaa grunted. "What?"

"I gotta pee." he said, doing his best Forrest Gump impersonation.

Isaac stared. "Can't you hold it?"

Zac shook his head. "Nope. I've got to go."

Isaac checked his watch and then the flight list. "Oh..." His brother's pained face clinched it. "Okay. But hurry."

Zac nodded gratefully and headed off to where he thought the toilets were.

---

Katriona saw Zac head towards her and she took one last sip of her Coke, gathering her strength. She stood, and taking a deep breath, followed him.

He pushed open the men's toilet door and went inside.

Katriona marched around outside, feeling stupid. What was she supposed to do now? She was prepared, but she couldn't exactly waltz into the men's room, now could she?

---

Zac washed his hands and wiped his fingers down his shirt. Time to get back.

The bathroom door creaked open and he glanced up.

---

Katriona stared at Zac, momentarily shocked. He stared back.

---

"If you want an autograph, you're really going out of your way, aren't you?" he joked nervously.

The girl didn't move.

"Ah, well then. I 'll be going." he made as if the pass her, but she stood in his way. "Care to move?"

She didn't.

He grew frightened. "What do you want?"

She still didn't reply and slowly advanced.

---

Katriona didn't want to alarm him. He looked scared enough as it is.

She stepped closer and he held an arm out, warding her off.

That didn't work and she stepped forward again. She was about to say something, when he shot off like a bullet.

Just as fast, she reached out and grabbed his arms.

---

Zac fought, but she was incredibly strong. What was she going to do? Horrid thoughts passed through his mind and he tried to block them out.

---

Katriona held him in her grip. "Don't say a word." she warned.

He yelped and she smacked her hand onto his mouth. "I warned you."

---

She spun Zac around until she had him around the neck with her arm, and his other twisted painfully behind his back. His hand was pulled up by hers from around his neck. It hurt. Bad.

"You won't say a word, will you?" she whispered in his ear, her voice low and menacing.

He nodded his head frantically. His arm hurt heaps.

She let go of his mouth, and he sighed as the tension on his arm was released.

---

"Into the toilet." she directed him, pointing to a stall. She turned them around and backed into the toilet.

With one arm around his neck, she used the other to flip the lid down.

"Shut and lock the door." she told him, and he did as directed.

Katriona got onto the lid and sat up onto her knees, still grasping him by the neck. If anyone came in, they'd only see Zac's shoes, and not hers as well.

"What do we do now?" Zac asked softly.

Katriona tried hard not to apoligise. He was afraid, and she couldn't blame him.

---

"Now we wait."
