CHAPTER FOURTY-ONE

I groaned as the others pounced a new surprise on me.

"We're getting interviewed by Bop magazine." Isaac told me from up front of the van.

"Friggin' hell!" I complained, buckling my seatbelt. "Separately or what?" I tried to ignore the way Taylor stretched his arms out, and majically an arm fell around my shoulders. That's bad acting, Tay, I thought.

"No. They're letting us stay together."

"Well joy." I rolled my eyes. I glanced out the window. I pressed my face against the window, squinting to see what I was looking for. I jumped.

"Teenies on the move, 9 o' clock!!" I screeched, falling back in horror. I landed in Taylor's lap as he was leaning over to look, squinting to see through the mark I left on the window.

"Oh shit." he whispered, his blonde hair falling so that it poked my eyeballs. I batted it out of the way.

It was true. A pack of screaming estrogen hormones was running to our small bus. They held signs of 'I love Ike/Tay/Zac/Hanson!' and their faces were contorted horribly in their screams.

I unbuckled my seat belt and scrambled over to the aisle. I knocked against Zac who joined me in the aisle, avoiding the raging hormones at 3 o' clock.

"Why the hell aren't we moving?!" I yelled up to the driver.

He turned around, face pale. "I've got girls stuck to the front. They're actually climbing onto the bumper."

I grimaced. I resigned myself to standing in the aisle, Zac pasted against me like a burr.

Everyone else sighed miserably. The screaming kept on, and I held my hands over my buzzing ears.

"Godammit!" I yelled. "Why can't your fans be human!?" I asked no one in particular.

Isaac shrugged, inching away from his window where hands were beating the glass. He waved weakly through the glass.

"At least our fans scream a few octaves lower." Jamie rolled her eyes, ignoring the girls outside. She flicked calmly through her magazine.

After a few more minutes, I was so angry I was tempted to do an Gallagher on them. The birdie. The sign. A Moonie. Something. Anything that'd shock them so much they'd stop their buzzing.

I grinned evilly, eyeing Taylor who was banging his head against the seat in front of him. My face flushed, but I decided to do it anyways.

I pulled myself up onto my knees on the chair in front of him, grabbed him by his hair then by the shirt, pulling him up until he was standing. I smiled maliciously at the screaming girls outside.

"Taylor. Is. Not. Yours." I signed out, glaring at a girl who had 'TAYTAYTAY' pasted in red across her face and a Tay shirt and a Tay poster. She stopped. I smiled wider, and turned back to a stunned Tay. I shoved my lips on his, and he nearly struggled away, but I wouldn't let him. He relaxed.

I kept my eyes open, glancing out the window. The entire pack was silent. I twisted and saw the other side of the bus was as well.

I could hear Jess. "Get down! Let them see them!" she directed to, whom I think, was the driver.

Everything fell quiet, and I tore my lips away. The bus started up and started moving away and I fell forward with the acceleration, whacking Tay's mouth with my forehead.

He fell back, breathing heavily.

"I really didn't want to do that." I apoligized. He just sat there, holding his mouth.

I turned and sat in the seat, buckling up once again. It clicked loudly in the silence. "What?" I asked.

Everyone had plates for eyes.

"Whoa." Isaac said, shaking his head.

Zac laughed. "I think you've permanently damaged Tay, Kris."

I turned to see a slightly red Taylor. He looked fine. A bit... stunned, but fine.

I shrugged. "I would have never done that if I didn't want to get out of here."

"Kris, the media will have a field day with this, you know." Taylor said quietly, finally feeling his sore lip.

My face went red.

"Oop." Jess grinned. "Embarrassment settles in."

"I think boys suck." Jamie mused aloud. She got whacked in the face by Ike's plaid shirt from around his face. "Hey!"

"Girls suck." Zac retorted.

"You suck!" she shot back.

"You!"

I snickered, cooling my face on the glass window...
