and John Densmore; three great musicians-one outstanding poet. From their early recordings in 1965 to present day popularity, this is a group that will endure the changing times. Although lead singer/poet Jim Morrison's life ended abruptly (and early at age 27) due to his "over indulgence", the mark The Doors made in music history is overwhelming for a short-lived career span. The recent release of more "never before heard" recordings proves the talents of these four musicians is timeless. Long live The Doors!
