Chapter Ten
When the girls got to the mall, Erin looked at her watch to check the time.
"Okay, it's almost one, we've got about two and a half hours to shop." she reminded Nicole.
"That's enough for me !" Nicole agreed.
The first thing they did was go to their favorite store, Abercrombie & Fitch. They knew they'd find modt of what they were looking for there.
The minute they stepped into the store, Erin spotted the perfect pants. They were khaki colored capri pants, they were so perfect, she could almost hear them calling her name. She quickly tried them on and decided to buy them, along with a white tank top and a light blue men's shirt she had picked out.
Erin then found Nicole, who had chosen a pair of jeans and a green, long sleeved t-shirt. The two girls got in line together to pay for their merchandise and were out of there in about fifteen minutes.
Erin then decided she needed shoes. They stopped at Baker's and found a great pair of white leather, platform tennis shoes.
She bought those and the shopping was over with an hour and a half to spare.
"Wow...I've never shopped that fast in my whole life !" exclaimed Nicole.
"Me neither...I kinda surprised myself !" agreed Erin.
"So, what do you want to do now ?" Nicole asked.
"Well, I'd really like to get my nails done and, maybe, a haircut." Erin replied.
"Wow, you're going all out aren't you ?" laughed Nicole. "I guess that's cool...I could get my nails done too."
"Well, let's go to Heidi's then." suggested Erin.
"Sounds good to me." agreed Nicole.
The girls walked into the salon and were immediately taken. They got their nails done first, which took about a half an hour. Both girls got airbrushed French manicures.
When they were done with their nails, Nicole went with Erin for her hair cut.
Erin decided on a shoulder length, layered cut, something that was easy to maintain and not a drastic change.
She asked the stylist not to do anything fancy with it, considering she was just going to wash it again when she got home anyway. The stylist agreed and was done within thirty minutes.
After that, the girls headed back to Erin's house to get ready. They decided there was no use in Nicole going home when Kevin would be picking them up around five.
This way they had an hour and a half to get ready.
