Ty has just informed me that "MOONFLOWER LANE" still has a release date for late February and will be released in North America through Metal Blade Records (the new label for King's X), and in the Far East through the Pony Canyon label. He is currently looking for a distributor for Europe.

Ty will also be featured on the cover of HM magazine (Heaven's Metal) in the March/April isssue. This issue is unique in that HM allowed Ty to design the cover himself! Be sure to check it out! (Visit HM's web site at HM MAG.)

Sunday, October 26th

Ty has informed through e-mail regarding some information concerning the re-recording AND re-release of "Naomi's Solar Pumpkin."

First, the original recording of "N.S.P" will be re-released with a new, more-readable font on November 4th. (TENTATIVE. FYI, this is the 2nd pressing of the orignal N.S.P.) The "new-font" version of "N.S.P." will be available for U.S. AND Canadian fans. (ALRIGHT CANADA!) Here's what Ty has told me through e-mail about this "new-font" version:

the new font NSP WILL be available for CANADIAN orders. HOWEVER, it will require a price of $21.95 US. this is to cover bank charges and extra shipping costs. this is for CANADA ONLY. the rest of the world WILL get to order it soon after. the cost will once again be different.

Second, Ty has almost completed the re-recording of "N.S.P." which will be available worldwide. The new "N.S.P." will have 4 songs from the original replaced by 4 new songs. The entire cd has been re-recorded and features Alan Doss of the Galactic Cowboys on drums.

Friday, June 20

Ty has recently done an advertisement for A.R.T. Amplifiers that has appeared in several different guitar magazines. Ty used an A.R.T. Rules Breaker Series Model DST-825 guitar combo amplifier for the recording of his new solo album "Naomi's Solar Pumpkin."

Ty has just told me that his first solo album, titled "Naomi's Solar Pumpkin" will be released (tenatively) on Tuesday, July 5th, 1997.
