One of the premier "art rock groups", ELP consisted of Keith Emerson- a virtuoso keyboardist, Greg Lake- an outstanding vocalist, guitarist, and bass-guitarist who originally sang and played guitar for King Crimson and Carl Palmer- an excellent drummer! Similar to Rush, Emerson, Lake and Palmer has remained a trio throughout their career!
