Hi! Welcome to my homepage!

THE MIDDLE PERIOD

During the middle period, Emerson, Lake & Palmer begin to fragmentize. At the end of the Middle period, Emerson, Lake & Palmer would cease to exist and Carl Palmer would leave in order to form Asia with former Yes members: Steve Howe & Geoffrey Downes and former King Crimson member John Wetton

Works Vol. I · Works Vol. 2 · Love Beach · In Concert · Works Live

Works Vol. I    (1977)

Works Vol. I is a magnificent album! A compendium of tracks which are representative of each individual members respective strongpoint! Here is the "Piano Concerto No. 1" by Keith Emerson! Several Greg Lake songs, including: "C'est La Vie." Many great pieces by Carl Palmer! Finally, the two ELP masterpieces: "Fanfare For The Common Man" and "Pirates!"

Works Vol. 2    (1977)

Contains several well-written songs, such as: "I Believe In Father Christmas," and "Tiger In The Spotlight."

Love Beach    (1978)

Although, this album was released as part of a contractual obligation. It still does contain some great music! Specifically, it contains: a very beautiful suite entitled: "Memoirs Of An Officer And A Gentleman," It also contains great pieces, such as: "For You" and "Canario." Unfortunately, the rest of the material is too poppish and below EL&P's usual standards of excellence!

In Concert   (1979)

No longer available! Have Works Live 2-cd set instead!

Works Live    (1993)

A thoroughly impressive concert from Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec in 1977. Highlights include: "Tiger In A Spotlight," "Fanfare For The Common Man," "C'est La Vie", a shortened version of "Pictures At An Exhibition", "Abaddon's Bolero" and "Knife Edge"!
