100% Feel
Cherry (Sammi), Jerry (Ekin Cheng) and Lok(Eric Kwok) have been best friends ever
since secondary school. They made a vow that they could never ever fall in love with each other.
After finishing off school, they still remained close and kept in contact in with each other. Cherry has maintained single while Jerry has had several flings. However, these
casual relationships came to an end with the appearance of Fong Fong (Gigi Leung). Jerry
was sure that she was the girl of his dreams and rated her as being 80% perfect for a girl,
while he only gave Cherry 60%.
Cherry’s opportunity came when Fong Fong won a scholarship to go to Paris to study fashion
design and decided to go. Thus, she broke up with Jerry as he was not willing to wait for
her.
At the end of course, Cherry and Jerry got together.
I thought Sammi did a really good job in this, it could be because of the fact that the role
Cherry seemed to reflect her personal character and that is why she played out the role
really well. I found the film to be very humourous thanks to Cherry’s arrogance in the
film.
I would recommend this film to young adults because it deals with youth issues and
relationships which is very enjoyable to watch.

Feel 100%...Once More
In this film, Yen (Sammi) and Marco(Ekin Cheng) are a pair who thought their
relationship was stable and nothing could come between them. It was because of the fact
that it was too stable that caused them to feel dull about their relationship.
Hence they
decided to take a trip to Japan together to inject some life in their relationship and to
understand more about each other. However instead of becoming more aquatinted with
each other, they had a conflict due to personality crash and petty fights over things like
Yen stealing the hotel towels and him calling her cheap. As a result, Yen returned to
Hong Kong while Marco remained in Hong Kong. Marco then met up with Gobby (Suk Jeng Yau),
a model from Hong Kong and became friends with her. When Marco returned to Hong
Kong, he coincidently met up with Gobby again and started to date her. Yen still has
feelings for Marco and became very jealous of Gobby because not only did she take her
boyfriend from her but she also took her good friends Emma (Gigi Leung) and.
However, at the end, Yen was still able to reunite with Marco as Gobby died from heart
disease.
Although I thought this film was quite entertaining, it still wasn’t comparable to 100%
Feel. Everyone’s acting was equally great but I thought Suk Jing Yau’s accent was really
annoying. There were several scenes where Yen created humour in the film but Tat
Ming Cheung should be given the most credit for making the film interesting
and funny.
Overall, I would recommend this film if you haven’t seen 100% Feel but if
you have, there really isn’t any point in seeing it because it has practically the same
storyline.

The Lucky Guy
Shui (Steven Chau) works in a small cafeteria and has a reputation of being “Prince of
Egg Tarts”. He is seen by his colleagues to be a fatal attraction for girls of all ages but
this is not actually true because he pays girls to put up an act in front of people so that he
can have face. Basically Shui is always trying to appear cool and popular in front of
people. In one situation where he got bitten by a dog, he had to go to hospital to be
treated for rabies.
Coincidentally, he met his old school mate Candy(Sammi) at the hospital
as she was a nurse there. Although he has secretly admired her ever since secondary
school, he tried to avoid her, even she called out to him. It was very obvious that Shui
was the Shui that Candy knew back from school but he still resisted to identify himself as he
could not face her after having embarrassed her in front of the whole school. After he
confirmed that Candy was no longer angry at him, they became friends again and started to
go out together. It was only during one dinner that Shui found out that Candy was still very
angry at him as she took revenge by playing a trick on him and which embarrassed him in
his area of work.
In the end, when Candy found out that what Shui did to her in secondary school was an
accident she forgave him and got together with him.
Given that Steven Chau starred in this, it is pretty obvious that it would not be an
ordinary comedy. If you love to laugh, then this is the film for you because there are
heaps of scenes that are really, really, funny. The scenes with Shui making exaggerated
grand entrances accompanied by wind and flying leaves, his nerdy days back at high
school, his denial of his identity in front of Candy, are all full of laughs and in some
instances tears when it became too much to take.
Although Sammi’s role wasn’t very big in this film as there were a lot of famous stars in
it, I would still strongly recommend this film to everyone.

Killing Me Tenderly
This film is about an obsessed fan called Jelly who kept sending obscene letters and
items to his idol Cindy (Sammi) in order to express his affection for her.
His affection
for her was so extreme that he decided to kill her and then suicide so that they could be
together forever. As a result, her manager Johnson(Wyman) approached the police to request
for a bodyguard to protect Cindy. George (Leon) was selected but he wasn’t allowed to
expose his identity to Cindy as his manager was afraid it would frighten her and hence
affect her singing career. As a consequence, George had to pretend to be gay in order for
Cindy to hire him as an assistant as she preferred gay employees.
After a long time of serving Cindy, George fell in love with her but was not allowed to tell her
that as he promised her manager that he wouldn’t make a move on her. After an incident
where Cindy was in danger of being hurt by Jelly, George exposed his identity in order to save
her. Cindy was angry with him for awhile as she disliked people that lie to her, but she
forgave him soon after and they then became an item.
When Cindy held her first concert on stage, George warned Cindy that Jelly was around and
to cancel the concert as she would be risking her life. But because of how touched she
was by her fans and the fact that by leaving, it could ruin her singing career, she stayed to
sing one song that she thought would put an end to her singing career. Not surprisingly,
Jelly did appear and tried to kill Cindy but with one cool swift, George was able to save her
and prosecute Jelly.
Killing Me Tenderly is basically another version of The Bodyguard and so if you
liked that film, then you’ll love this one. Again, this is yet another hilarious film as there
are scenes where Leon was acting as Wyman’s boyfriend, and where he pretended he
didn’t like Sammi which were really funny. In this film, you get to visually experience
life as a homosexual as there are constant images and acknowledgment of them
throughout the film. You will feel quite different about homosexual men as they are
portrayed in a very positive way.
In all, this movie would be great if you enjoy comedy with a bit of twist.
