This show was cancelled after 1.5 seasons on the Kids' WB! A few episodes never aired. It's quite funny, even in comparison to WB's other comedy cartoons. It airs in reruns on Cartoon Network.

"Freakazoid!" is nominated for a CableAce Award for Animated Program Special or Series.

Characters:

Freakazoid - Dexter Douglas typed a formula on the Internet, got zapped into cyberspace and became the wild, wacky superhero Freakazoid!

Cosgrove - Freakazoid's policeman friend. Looks like and has the voice of Ed Asner.

Steff - Freakazoid's girlfriend, who wants to "just be friends" with Dexter.

Lobe - Freakazoid's arch enemy.

Candle Jack - A villain who steals little kids who say his name.

There are other villains too numerous to mention.

Emmitt Nervend - Show's mascot. Is hidden in every episode.

Captain Bravery, the Huntsman - Other basically useless heroes.

Fanboy - Annoying to no end.
