Wired PC Keyboard Hints

If you are using a wired PC keyboard with your WebTV Classic, here's what the different keys do. If your using a WebTV Plus and would like to use a wired keyboard, then goto www.omdev.com
to find out about the Wired Keyboard Adapter!

F1 = Power on and off

F2 = Favorites

F3 = Search (via WebTV's default search engine Excite)

F4 = E-Mail

F5 = Find (Find a word on a page your on)

F6 = Info (Get the url or address of the web page your on)

F7 = Goto (Enter a url and go directly to the page!)

F8 = Save to Favorites (Save a web page to visit again!)

F9 = Send (Send a web page to a friend via e-mail!)

F10 = Recent (Shows the last 12 places or web pages you visited)

F11 = Options (find, info, goto, save, and send, reload and hang-up if you have your advanced options turned on)

F12 = Nothing

Home = Home (Brings you back to your WebTV Home Page)

End = The Back button

Page Up & Page Down = Page Up & Page Down ;-)

Delete and the <–– key work the same to back space...
