of Taylor's Tactics (From the beginning!)
Taylor betrays Caroline's and Strom's trust....
Caroline is dying of lukemia, she goes to see Dr. Taylor Hayes for emotional counseling. Eventually Caroline confides to Taylor about Ridge and Brooke's previous relationship. She tells Taylor how much Brooke still loves Ridge and how Ridge still has deep feelings for Brooke also. Caroline then tells Taylor that she talked to Brooke and made Brooke promise to take care of Ridge after her death. Caroline goes on to tell Taylor that she can die easier now, knowing that Ridge will have Brooke to help him get over his loss and make the rest of his life a happy one.
Taylor, although engaged to Storm Logan, is already lusting after Ridge. She sees herself more as the kind of help Ridge needs, not Brooke Logan Forrester. Who by the way is married to, but currently separated from, Eric Forrester, Ridge's father.
After Caroline dies, Ridge is devestated, he goes to see Taylor for emotional counseling, just like Caroline did. Taylor tells Ridge that his relationship with Brooke is disgusting and unnatural. Taylor even begins to date Ridge while stll engaged to Storm.
Eric goes to see Taylor. He confesses to still being in love with Brooke. He asks for Taylor's help to save his marriage. They conspire together to keep Ridge and Brooke apart.
Taylor sees Brooke and gives Brooke her professional(?) opinion. Taylor tells Brooke she shouldn't pursue Ridge since he is still mourning Caroline. That Brooke should give him time to heal and not pressure him. Brooke leaves Taylor's office and Taylor barges off to Ridge to "comfort" him over his terrible loss.
