Statement of Purpose: To promote appreciation of Mike Nesmith as a performer, songwriter, and person.
1. You should try to watch The Monkees at every opportunity. Try to have someone record it for you if you have to.
2. It is okay to like Micky and Peter as long as you don't like them better than Mike. You can also like Davy if you want to, although I'm not too fond of him.
3. Celebrate December 30, Mike's birthday. Celebrate any way you want to, my suggestion is to watch your favorite episodes and listen to your favorite songs. More adventurous members may want to travel to Farmer's Branch, TX, where Mike spent his childhood.
4. Buy Liquid Paper. Use only Liquid Paper, but please don't sniff. The Mike Nesmith Propaganda Ministry does not want anybody to use drugs.
5. Buy as many Monkees albums as possible. If you can find any of Mike Nesmith's solo work, buy that too.
