Assault on Precinct 13
Director: John Carpenter Starring: Austin Stoker, Darwin Johnston, Martin West and Laurie Zimmer Date: 1976
This is my favorite movie, bar none. Loosely based on the western classic "Rio Bravo", this contemporary is John Carpenter's best movie (with the exception of Halloween). In a Los Angeles ghetto a multi-racial gang takes an all out assault on a closing down police department. Police officers and prisoners stand side by side to save thier own lives. My favorite scene is where one of the gang members shoots the little girl from "Escape from Witch Mountain", it's sick but funny. I give it my highest recommendation!!!, but Rutger still won't watch it. Ha Ha!
