My Review: "Bart vs. Thanksgiving" would be a classic if it weren't so depressing. It's a very well-written episode, with amazingly realistic family characterization and conflict, and some brilliant gags. I usually enjoy "heartwarming" episodes, and all good comedy is good drama, but this episode's humor is too drowned out in sadness to stand out. The episode is almost never seen in syndication, and even if it's not among the Top Ten, it doesn't deserve that kind of treatment. (3.5/5)
