My Review: This episode, an answer to parents and educators who criticized the show in its early years, is mildly amusing but flat and ineffectual. The plot, in which Bart cuts the head off the Jebediah Springfield statue, is not developed well, and Bart's remorse looks spontaneous and phoned-in. "The Tell-Tale Head" is not one of Our Favorite Family's more memorable episodes. See Bart Gets an F for a better example of an "apologetic" Bart episode. (2.5/5)
