Dilandau says "I've got you, Van!" Er, he's not supposed to know that's Van in there. Yet, later, when he sees Van come out of Escaflowne, he's surprised that it's him, even though according to that line, he shouldn't be.

When Folken walks up to Escaflowne, the music cue "Chain" begins playing. We're not supposed to hear this track until episode 19, during the scene that I refer to as "The really corny scene that's only dramatic because of the music." ^_^*

Folken cutting his finger on his sword. Come on! You don't see any blood there! The blood thing's important. Well, they cut it in episode 2, too, so I guess they deleted the whole blood pact thing.

While Hitomi is telling Allen about himself, one of the soldiers says he doesn't know if it's right or not, since Allen never talks about his past.

Hitomi thinks to herself that Allen mentioned that his sister disappeared and his mother died. To emphasize this, a scene from episode 21 is cut to of a flashback to Allen's sister and his mother dying.

Folken calls Van "brother". He originally did not say this, which accounts for Van's complete lack of reaction. We're not supposed to know they're brothers for about another minute.

After Folken officially reveals that he is Van's brother, a bunch of little flashback scenes from episode 22 are cut to (people saying that Folken ran away from the dragon hunt, etc.).

Someone here must work for NASA. When Hitomi is trying to judge the distance across the gap, she originally calculates it to be "five, almost six meters". In the TV version, this equates to... eight to nine feet?! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's just a tad off (since one meter is a little over three feet, it would have been closer if she had said eightteen feet).

When Hitomi jumps across the chasm, the music cue "Wings" should be playing. So, she's flying without her "Wings" music. Waahh, I wish they'd leave Kanno-san's stuff alone!

(sigh) There they go playing "Epistle" in random places again. It starts when Folken throws Van his sword and lasts the rest of the battle on the fortress.

When Van cuts Dilandau, there's a cut of blood and locks of hair falling to the floor (but the rest of the blood in the scene is there!)
