Work Extra #588 at Joella during the flood of 1938. I'm ashamed of the handwriting, but I was writing with a stylus and making 5 copies hurriedly. |
NOTE: Paul Wooldridge was a telegrapher for Cotton Belt. He was at Lewisville, Ark., then Gideon Missouri, then from 1973 until he retired he was back at Lewisville. where he lives now. Joella was in Arkansas where the Cotton Belt crossed Highway 82 Just before you got to the Red River. It wasn't anything but a crossing, a store, and a big plantation. It's about 2 miles from Garland. 6 miles from Lewisville. |
